Letter: Floren 'An Especially Effective Voice in Hartford'

I offer my full support to Representative Livvy Floren as she seeks her seventh term to the Connecticut State Legislature. For the past twelve years, Livvy has done a remarkable job of representing her constituents in the 149th  District.

State Representative Floren’s leadership skills and her ability to work with legislators on both sides of the aisle have made her an especially effective voice in Hartford for her Greenwich and Stamford constituents.  She serves on the State Bond Commission and on the General Assembly’s Finance, Revenue & Bonding Committee, the Select Committee on Aging and has been a long time member of the Government Administration and Elections Committee. Representative Floren has secured multiple projects of great importance in Stamford and Greenwich.

Livvy Floren has been a partner in Hartford in all that we seek to accomplish in Stamford.  She always has the interests of the City of Stamford in mind and encourages input from city officials on specific issues on a regular basis. Livvy understands that the issues that we face in Fairfield County are unique and she works to support our city.

Livvy continues to work to reduce taxes, create jobs, preserve open space, and retain programs for the elderly. As such I fully support Representative Livvy Floren’s run for re-election and look forward to working with her as she serves her seventh term in Hartford.
