Lost Parakeet

"May 2011

Dear Neighbor,

In March, we lost our pet parakeet, named Solstice. He escaped out of his cage, out of our sliding door and into 186 Field Point Road, near . He may still be alive, probably looking for poeple to feed him since he's lived with humans for nearly nine years.

If he lands on your shoulder or deck, pls. feed and take him in and call us. You can put him in a box or paper bag as long as it has small holes that allow him to breathe.

If he hangs out at your bird feeder or backard, pls. call us immediately so we can bring is bird cage to your home. Birds like Solstice see their cages as their homes.

We hope that you can help us find our dear friend because we miss him very much. We really want to be with him again.
