Norwalk Teen Faces Child Porn Charge

Police: Former Greenwich resident enticed girlfriend to send nude electronic photos.

A child pornography possession and other related charges have been lodged against an 18-year-old from Norwalk.

According to a Greenwich Police report, Todd D. Summerville, who gave an address of 50 Marlin Dr., Norwalk, surrendered to Greenwich Police on Feb. 21.

He faces charges of third-degree illegal possession of child pornography, impairing the morals of a minor and promoting a minor in an obscene performance.

Sgt. Mark Zuccerella, head of the Special Victims Section, said Summerville is a former Greenwich resident who had a relationship with a female juvenile from Greenwich. He said that after Summerville moved to Oklahoma last year, he asked the minor to send electronic nude photos of herself.

"We just became aware of it last month," Zuccerella said.

Summerville was released on a promise to appear Feb. 22 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
