Power Restored to Hundreds in Western Greenwich [UPDATED]

A tree has taken down power lines in area of Weaver Street.

Connecticut Light & Power reports that just before noon Monday, power was restored to hundreds of customers in the western Greenwich section of town.

Connecticut Light & Power is reporting that a tree came down on lines on Weaver Street and took down three sections of power lines about 8:30 Monday morning.

"Initially, there were about 700 customers without power and that is down to 437 at this moment," according to CL&P spokeman Mitch Gross.

The streets affected are:


WEAVER ST MOSHIER ST BYRAM TERRACE DR ARTHER ST ALMIRA DR HAWTHORNE ST S CHAPEL ST REYNOLDS PL
