What: Sundown Fireworks at Tod’s Point in Old Greenwich
When: July 2, 6 p.m. (Rain date July 3).
Where: Greenwich Point Park, Tods Driftway & Shore Road, Old Greenwich, CT 06870
Details: Bring your blanket and family and head, by land or by boat to Greenwich Point for the best views of the fireworks above the Long Island Sound. On July 2, a limited area of the Point will be restricted from public use on the day of the fireworks. Note: Pets are not allowed. For more information, call 203-618-4649

What: Music and fireworks at Binney Park
When: July 2, 6 p.m. (Rain Date July 3)
Where: Binney Park, Sound View Drive & Arch Street, Old Greenwich, CT, 06830
Details: For a little music to go with your sundown fireworks, head to Binney Park. The Sound Beach Community Band will perform beginning at 7:30 p.m. on the Showmobile in the area of Binney Park near the flag pole near Sound Beach Avenue.

Where: Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts, 149 Girdle Ridge Road, Katonah, NY 10536
Details: Head north to Katonah to celebrate Independence Day with symphonic music and fireworks. The featured performer is violinist Charles Yang, who will perform Henri Vieuxtemp's "Yankee Doodle" Variations. Ticket holders will be treated to a post-performance fireworks show.
