The spate of sunny weather continues. According to the National Weather Service, today's forecast will be:

  • Today: Mostly sunny, with a high near 70. East wind 6 to 9 mph.
  • Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 50. Calm wind becoming north around 5 mph.
High tides today will be running at 4:54 a.m. and 5:12 p.m., with the low tides at 11:05 a.m. and 11:48 p.m.

And if you're into numbers, it's not that often that you'll have sunrise at 6:45 a.m. and the sunset exactly 12 hours later at 6:45 p.m.

Shop for a cause:
The Blues Jean Bar and Patch will host a benefit for the Greenwich YWCA and its programs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the 19 E. Elm St. boutique. Nearly all merchandise and clothing for men and women will be discounted 10 percent, with that 10 percent being donated to the YWCA.

Trunk Show at Steven Alan:
Steven Alan, 82 Greenwich Ave., presents the Tibi trunk show hosted by Tibi designer Amy Smilovic from 3 to 8 p.m., with cocktails and a special raffle. 

Back to Wine School:
The Study Fine Wine & Spirit shop at 1066 North St. is hosting a 'Back to Wine School' with wine superstar Jordan Ross, who will present the finer points of wine tasting.
