Looking to the future of Cos Cob
The Planning and Zoning Commission along with Buckhurst Fish Consultants for the Cos Cob Neighborhood Plan is holding a workshop at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, in the Central Middle School cafeteria to hear the presentation by the Consultants Frank Fish and Associates on the first draft of the 130-page Cos Cob Plan, and to gather residents' input on issues and concerns.

Bullying, Name-Calling and Cyberbullying: What Kids Wish Their Parents Knew
Did you know that every child is involved in bullying, whether as a bully, victim, ally or bystander? At this eye-opening workshop, the Anti-Defamation League's Education Director Marji Lipshez-Shapiro will give parents the tools to communicate with — and empower — your child against bullying. It'll be at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 1 at Greenwich Town Hall.

Community Plates fights hunger

The area’s newest restaurants and some established favorites will come together to help COMMUNITY PLATES end hunger in Fairfield County. The celebratory evening begins with a VIP cocktail reception at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner. It's happening at The Loading Dock in Stamford.
