Need a mid-week break from the grind or a jumpstart to celebrating the weekend a bit early? Check out the local Grateful Dead tribute band Terrapin tonight at the Beach House Cafe in Old Greenwich.

For the kids, there's the pre-school drop-in story time at 3:30 p.m. today at the Cos Cob Library. Miss Chris will lead the group in songs, movement, and finger plays and will share some fun stories.
