I love a good horror flick (have since the age of 5...is that weird?)! This one, however, didn't do much for me. Was very slow. I did scream the loudest, blood curdling scream (like a school girl) during the "oh no, don't open that door scene... something's going to jump out" so I will give it that!
High school girl played by "Hunger Games" Jennifer Lawrence falls for the creepy yet interesting boy "literally" next door whose parents were murdered by his sister! Did she disappear or is she living in his basement? Mom played by the darling Elisabeth Shue of course says "stay away" from him he could be trouble! Do we really think she's going to do that?
Needless to say a NOT scary movie was born!
