A Uniquely Greenwich FLoral Merger: George and McArdle's

The Oldest Continuously Owned Family Business in Greenwich And One Of The Most Talented Floral Designers in Greenwich Are Creating Some Remarkably Beautiful Designs Together!

McArdle’s Florist and Garden Center in Greenwich, recently announced that George von Tobel has joined the Floral Design Team. 


George is well known and well-respected in Greenwich.  His roots in floral design run deep.  He discovered his botanical calling while still in high school when working at a local florist and later as Manager of Greenwich Orchids.  George was the owner of Flowers by George for more than twenty years.  His talent for wedding and party designs earned him a loyal following. The prestigious New York Orchid Show has awarded George both First and Second Place Honors in bridal bouquet design.

George’s Greenwich roots run deep as well.  A graduate of Greenwich High School, George married his middle-school sweetheart and lives in town with two daughters.  He has served as President of the PTA at two schools and as the Greenwich High School PTA Fundraiser Co-Chair.  George is past chairman of the Democratic Town Committee and currently serves as a Justice of the Peace.  He is a popular speaker and teacher at the Riverside Garden Club, the Greenwich Garden Club and the Garden Education Center.

Seems to me you are missing the most obvious which is shown in the photo used at the top ofRead More Greenwich Patch pages - Grass Island Marina/Park is directly across the waterway. You won't be able to see much of the stage front but you can certainly enjoy the tunes.
