Brunswick Student Reed Schultz Launches 2nd Annual Clothing Drive

2nd Annual Winter Clothing Drive to Begin This Week

Greenwich, CT November 28, 2012: Building upon a tradition started last year, Reed Schultz, a Brunswick high school junior, announced the start of the 2nd Annual "Thanks for Giving" Holiday Clothing Drive.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwestern Connecticut will be this year’s recipient of the donated goods. The effort helps to fund their vital mentoring program.

Schultz noted that for last year’s drive “We were so grateful for the enormous response from the community. Hundreds of pounds of clothing found a new life helping those in need. This year, we hope to do even better.”

In addition to several drop off points in lower Fairfield County, Schultz has recruited Fairfield County Bank branches throughout the area to also serve as drop off sites.

Residents are urged to drop off gently used clothing and shoes at area Fairfield County Bank branches during regular business hours, from now through December 27.
