Family Centers’ 2012 Benefit Promises Some “Dancin’ in the Street”

Get ready to kick off summer with a street festival sure to get your toes tapping!  Join on Saturday, June 2 at 6:30 p.m. for an evening of great tunes, delicious food and a little “Dancin’ in the Street” at  the agency’s 2012 benefit.

Held at the historic Greenwich Armory, this year’s event promises excitement around every turn.  With gourmet food trucks, live music in the beer garden, a giant Ferris Wheel and many other surprises, co-chairs Allison Bourke, Abby Bowers, Pam Caffray, Patti Fast and Nonie Sullivan are planning a once-in-a-lifetime party that is truly a multi-sensory experience.

Like most of Family Centers’ benefits, this year’s event is purposely designed to be casual.  In fact, to quote the famous song, “It doesn’t matter what you wear just as long as you are there!”

As Family Centers’ biggest fundraiser of the year, there are several ways you can get involved with “Dancin’ in the Street.”  A number of sponsorship levels have been created to help ensure the event’s success.  Underwriter opportunities are also available.

For more information or to become a sponsor, visit www.familycenters.org or contact Aleksa Lazarewicz at alararewicz@familycenters.org or 203-869-4848.

Seems to me you are missing the most obvious which is shown in the photo used at the top ofRead More Greenwich Patch pages - Grass Island Marina/Park is directly across the waterway. You won't be able to see much of the stage front but you can certainly enjoy the tunes.
