The Greenwich United Way Community Planning Council’s Legislative Breakfast will be held on Thursday, December 13th in the Greenwich Town Hall Meeting Room. The annual event takes place from 7:45 to 9:30 a.m.
All interested residents, local organizations, and service agency, town government, and other community leaders involved in local health and human services are invited to participate. Please register by emailing csmit@unitedway-greenwich.com.
Planning Council Chair Cathy Youngman will open the program, which will be moderated by United Way volunteer Brook Urban. State Representatives Alfred Camillo, Livvy Floren, newly elected legislator Stephen Walko, State Senator Scott Frantz, and Greenwich First Selectman Peter Tesei will participate.
United Way President Stuart Adelberg notes that in this difficult economy, numerous concerns continue to challenge individuals, families, government entities and non profit health and human service providers. The need for open discussion, good information, collaborative work and thoughtful prioritization has never been greater.
