Makers: Women Who Make America

Makers Women Who Make America, a new documentary initiative created by PBS and AOL, will be presented Feb. 3 at Greenwich Country Day School.

The screening will be hosted by AOL CEO Tim Armstrong and his wife Nancy and will feature a guest appearance by actress and Maker Marlo Thomas, the first single working woman in television.

Makers is a weekly series that features interviews with trailblazing women from all walks of life—ranging from Marin Alsop, the first woman to conduct a major American orchestra, and outgoing Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, to  Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton and Lydia Cincore-Templeton, the president and CEO of the Children Youth and Family Collaborative.

The free program, which is sponsored by Simple, begins at 3:30 p.m. at the school, 401 Old Church Rd. Tickets are still available and may be reserved by emailing: nancy@makers.com.
