Way’s favorite holiday tradition is its informal Teen
Gift Card program. Board
members, other volunteers, and staff contribute monies in order
to spread cheer to local teens who could use a little special
attention. That age
group is often overlooked at gift giving time and the cards
make perfect gifts. The kids
can treat themselves to what they really want, or use our gifts to get gifts for
their families and friends. This
generous participants made it possible to give gift cards to fifty teens
connected to Community Centers, Inc. and Family Centers, Inc. Both
organizations are United
agencies. Pictured with the gifts are United Way President Stuart
Lauren Franciamore of Community Centers.
