Friends of Greenwich Point Selling Holiday Ornament for Dune Restoration Project

From the Friends of Greenwich Point:

The Friends of Greenwich Point are running a fundraiser to help pay for dune restoration at Greenwich Point.
Super Storm Sandy devastated the dunes last year , and the Friends of Greenwich Point helped to pay for the
installation of an artificial dune and plant dune grass near the park entrance.

In fact, over 100 people showed up in April to plant 1,600 pieces of dune grass!

We are again fundraising to pay for additional dunes (erosion protection).

We are currently offering a custom painted ornament as part of a new annual series.
The 2013 inaugural ornament depicts a winter stroll around Greenwich Point.
People can reserve their own  hand - painted ornament by joining or renewing their
membership at a special $75 Holiday Level  (this offer also allows folks to  buy additional
ornaments at $20). To order an ornament, folks can send an email  to friendsofgreenwichpoint@aol.com,
or call 203-637-3860.
