ISD 4th Graders Create Living Museum To Showcase Risk Takers

International School at Dundee (ISD) fourth graders created a “Living Museum” showcasing risk-taking historical figures as part of ISD’s International Baccalaureate unit “Worth the Risk.” Fourth grade students researched various historical figures – each famed for taking risks in social, political, scientific, athletic or other arenas – and then assumed the personas of the characters in a “Living Museum.” Visitors to the exhibit could interact with each character by pressing buttons which prompted the students to share information they had researched about the individual, the risks he/she took and the impact of these actions.

About ISD:  The International School at Dundee was authorized in July of 2003 as an official International Baccalaureate school.  ISD is one of only 181 IB Primary Years Programme (IBPYP) authorized schools in the US, and one of only a few elementary schools in Connecticut to receive the IBPYP accreditation.  ISD offers programs for students from kindergarten through fifth grade.
