ISD First Graders Collect 1000+ Books for Childrens Collective

ISD First Graders Collect 1,000+ Books for Children's Collective First graders at the International School at Dundee (ISD) collected more than 1,000 gently used and new books - for toddlers through high school level readers - for distribution to homeless shelters, transitional housing facilities, community centers and charter schools in Brooklyn, the Bronx and Harlem.  To support the 24th Annual Children's Collective Book Drive, first graders created posters, made daily announcements at school and sorted the books.

About ISD:  The International School at Dundee was authorized in July of 2003 as an official International Baccalaureate school.  ISD is one of only 181 IB Primary Years Programme (IBPYP) authorized schools in the US, and one of only a few elementary schools in Connecticut to receive the IBPYP accreditation.  ISD offers programs for students from kindergarten through fifth grade.
