The Homestead Inn, Thomas Henkelmann Sparkle With AAA Four Diamonds

For the 10th consecutive year, The Homestead Inn and its dining room Thomas Henkelmann have again both earned two individual AAA Four Diamond awards for world-class service, facilities and amenities. At a recent lunch at the Thomas Henkelmann, AAA Southern New England honored area Four and Five Diamond properties and restaurants, including Thomas Henkelmann, left, and Theresa Henkelmann, right, owners of the 420 Field Point Road inn and dining room. AAA’s Fran Mayko who hosted the lunch presented the awards to the Henkelmanns. AAA’s Four- and Five-Diamond award ratings are the travel authority’s highest designations for properties and restaurants. Representing the upper echelon of the hospitality industry, the awards make up just 3.9% and 0.3%, respectively of the total 59,000 AAA approved and Diamond-rated lodgings and restaurants in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.
