The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning as thunderstorms are headed into the region.
The warning remains in effect until 5:45 p.m.
Judging from the darkened skyline outside Greenwich Town Hall, rainfall seems imminent.
The weather service said, "Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small creeks and streams, highways and underpasses."
