Food Drive at Greenwich Town Hall

Greenwich Town employees sure are a very generous crew.

And there's still time for town residents to join the employees'' giving spirit by dropping off canned goods and non-perishable foods such as pastas and cereals to the 8th annual food drive. Until 4 p.m. Thursday, donations from town employees and anyone else can be brought to the Town Hall Meeting Room on the first floor of Greenwich Town Hall, 101 Field Point Rd.

Greenwich Social Worker Alison Brush, who helped organize the drive with the Greenwich chapter of the Salvation Army, says the donations will replenish the Social Services emergency food pantry and those at Neighbor to Neighbor.
