Help "Jackie" Find Her Family

Greenwich Animal Control is looking for the owners of this lost Jack Russell Terrier. She is a senior dog found in backcountry.

Jackie is a senior Jack Russell Terrier, who was found in Greenwich on Aug. 29 on Howard Road off Taconic Rd. and Greenwich Animal Control needs your help finding her owner.

ACO Suzanne Carlin asks for your help reuniting this sweet senior girl - approximately 15 and weighing approximately the same - find her owners. When she was found, she was wearing an electric collar but no tags. She has no microchip either.

After a two week waiting period during which animal control tries to find a stray's owners, they are then able to get the dog medical attention and offer her for adoption. Two weeks will be up in a day or so.

This is a very sweet dog who needs some eye medication and has arthritis. That said, she was a spritely girl, eager to give kisses and meet new people.

If you know "Jackie" the Jack Russell Terrier, please call Greenwich Animal Control at 203-622-8299.

If Jackie's owners are not found soon, she will be available to meet for potential adoption. Animal Control is open between the hours of 7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (call first).

Greenwich Animal Control is located next to North Street School, at 393 North St.
