Low-Cost Rabies Vaccination Clinic in Greenwich

Greenwich residents can get low-cost rabies vaccines for the canines and felines on Saturday.

A low-cost rabies vaccine clinic will be held Saturday at the Greenwich Animal Control Shelter.

The clinic — to be held from 10 a.m. to noon, July 12 — is limited to Greenwich residents and town employees. A one year rabies vaccine is $20 per pet. Three-year vaccines are available with written proof of prior vaccination. Individuals presenting a state assistance ID card will receive a free vaccine for their own pet.

Vaccines will be administered by Dr. Shelly Skopit of Park Animal Hospital in Norwalk and Darien.

Dogs must be leashed and cats in carriers and all pets must be healthy. For information, call 203-622-8299.

The shelter is at 393 North St.
