Amid the din of downtown Greenwich traffic, the soulful sounds of a trumpet could be heard Tuesday afternoon.
Jean Dume decided to practice his trumpet when he discovered he was too early for the weekly fingerprint session offered at Greenwich Police headquarters. So he sat in the park bench outside headquarters on Mason Street and pulled out the gleaming horn and practice a few notes and songs.
Dume, a central Greenwich resident, has played trumpet since he was 15 years old and now performs as an accompianist for the Church of God in Brooklyn, NY. He said he hopes to join an underground band in New York.
