Road Work: Greenwich Street Paving Program Is Underway
Motorists should expect some delays and detours as the Highway Division has projects scheduled throughout Greenwich.
It's that time of year in Greenwich — summer means the start of the Department of Public Works Highway Division street paving and milling program.
While the Highway Division will be posting signs and detours to minimize delays, the department is asking motorists to "please bear with possible delays and adjust your driving schedule accordingly." There also are several sidewalk construction projects as well.
All of the work is weather dependent and will continue until all work is completed.
CENTRAL GREENWICH
- Mason Street: from Amogerone Crossway to East Elm Street.
- Museum Drive: from Steamboat Road to Indian Harbor Drive.
- Bruce Park Avenue Extension: from Davis Avenue to the dead end.
- Davenport Avenue: from Steamboat Road to the dead end.
- Division Street No 2: from Northfield Street to the dead end.
- Idar Court.
- Northfield Street: from William Street to Patterson Avenue.
- Patterson Avenue: from Northfield Street to Deer Park Drive.
COS COB

- Stanwich Road: from Old Post Road #6 to Indian Rock Lane.
- Parsonage Road: from Ridgeview Avenue to Beechcroft Road.
- Butternut Hollow Road: from Old Mill Road (east) to the Water Company trench.
- Castle Court: from Jeffrey Road to the end of cul de sac.
- Jeffrey Road: from Stanwich Road to the cul de sac.
- Old Mill Road (East): from Butternut Hollow Road to Lake Avenue.
