Ongoing construction along Shore Road is causing a headache for beach goers traveling to Greenwich Point Park and forcing motorists to navigate to the park via tight neighborhood back roads.
The utility work that began on April 29 will continue for an unspecified amount of time.
Traffic becomes especially difficult with work trucks and dump trucks joining cars on the roads, which often have vehicles parked along both sides, forcing traffic flow in both directions to play a bit of alternating leapfrog.
