Bruce Museum 2012 Family Benefit

Can You See What I See? Finding Family Fun at the is the theme of this year’s Family Benefit, which will be held at the museum from 3 pm to 6 pm on Sunday, April 22. (The museum will be closed to the public on this day.)

The Family Benefit, which complements the major exhibition Walter Wick: Games, Gizmos and Toys in the Attic now on view, will feature an afternoon of family-focused fun. Wick, author of the Can You See What I See? picture puzzle books and co-creator of the popular I Spy series, will be on hand to lead select groups through the exhibition and a number of engaging activities have been developed to delight children and adults alike.

In addition to the exhibition-themed activities there will be live entertainment, including Broadway performers from the New Paradigm Theatre Company who will create a professional theater experience. The company will also stage acting, dancing and voice workshops for the children. Plus, attendees will be treated to a full buffet prepared and presented by one of the premiere caterers in the area.
