Greenwich Hospital 14th Annual Teddy Bear Clinic

A Cure for “White Coat” Fears - Greenwich Hospital’s 14th Annual Teddy Bear Clinic

This popular family event teaches kids about medical treatments and healthy habits. Doctors, nurses and staff from more than 25 departments will be on hand at this outdoor mini-hospital. Ambulance tours, too!

Depending on the diagnosis, bears and other fuzzy patients may receive X-rays, ultrasound, surgery, splints or stitches. As they learn about their toys’ medical conditions, children can peer through microscopes and tiny surgical cameras, help prepare medication and administer first aid. Interactive opportunities continue with tips on exercise, healthy eating, new babies, sun protection – even lessons on how to relax.
