Stravinsky:Pairings explores three of Stravinsky’s main compositional styles by pairing pieces written by Stravinsky for violin with vocal music written by three other composers - Debussy, Berg and Krenek - whose music mirrored or inspired Stravinsky’s styles. The program features Metropolitan Opera mezzo-soprano Eve Gigliotti, tenor Peter Tantsits, and Greenwich Symphony concertmaster Krystof Witek and pianist Djordje Nesic. Sponsored by the GREENWICH ARTS COUNCIL. Followed by reception in the Bendheim Gallery.
