Vietnamese Ceramics: First in 8-month Lecture Series

An opening lecture on Vietnamese ceramics, sponsored by the Connecticut Ceramics Study Circle, aims at opening eyes and ears to the little known riches of this Southeast Asian nation.


Noted expert Donald A. Wood, senior curator of Asian Art at the Birmingham Museum of Art, Birmingham, Alabama will explore the lively symbolism of decorative motifs found on Vietnamese ceramics, highlighed by photographs from his museum's holdings.


All are welcome.  There is a $20.00 fee for non-members. Refreshments are included and servied following all presentations.
