Winter Film Festival: 'End of the Line'

will screen "End of the Line," a film about unsustainable fishing practices, as part of its Winter Film Festival, 6-9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28.

This is the first major feature documentary film to reveal the devastating effect that global over-fishing is having on fish stocks and the health of our oceans. Filmed over two years, the film follows the indefatigable investigative reporter Charles Clover as he confronts the politicians and celebrity restaurateurs who exhibit little regard for the damage their policies – and their menus – are doing to the oceans.

The film is 90 minutes. Space is limited. $15 for adults includes a wine & cheese reception from 6-7. Under 21 years old: $5. RSVP is required. Contact Jeff at 203-869-5272, ext. 239.
