Greenwich Ophthalmology Associates and Fairfield County Laser Vision have announced the opening of a combined and expanded ophthalmology office located in the Ethan Allen building on the border of Old Greenwich and Stamford, agt 2046 W. Main St.

Occupying nearly 12,000 square feet, the center is among the largest ophthalmology offices in Connecticut offering patients eyecare in a spacious setting with plenty of parking. The team of physicians provide ophthalmology care as well as care in the areas of retina, oculoplastics and cosmetic treatments, pediatric ophthalmology, glaucoma, and corneal, cataract and refractive surgery. 

The availability of subspecialty expertise, advanced diagnostic equipment, and state-of-the-art laser treatment and operating room consolidated in one facility will allow for efficient and high-quality care for patients of all ages. In addition, a full service designer optical shop and expanded contact lens services are on site.  A new cosmetic treatment center will be introduced.

Greenwich Ophthalmology was formerly located at 4 Dearfield Dr. in Greenwich. For over 40 years, they have been the leading multi-subspecialty ophthalmology practice in the Greenwich area. The physicians are Joseph Conway, Donna Densel, Gina Gladstein, Suresh Mandava, William Potter and Jerry Tsong. 

Fairfield County Laser Vision, formerly located at 1250 Summer St., Stamford, Suite 301, offers laser vision correction. It has treated thousands of patients with Intralase LASIK and other refractive procedures under the care of medical director, Suresh Mandava.  

Office hours are Monday 8-5, Tuesday 8-8, Wed 8-5, Thursday 8-8, Fri 8-5.  The Optical Shop and contact lens services will be available on Saturday from 10-4.  Office hours will begin on July 14.
