Mike Bodson Named CEO of Financial Services Firm

Bodson recently completed his term on the Greenwich Board of Education.

Greenwich resident Michael Bodson has been named president and CEO of The Depository Trust & Clearing Corp. (DTCC), a global financial services company, based in New York City.

The former member of the Greenwich Board of Education who is Chief Operating Officer of DTCC and Chief Operating Officer and President of three DTCC subsidiaries—The Depository Trust Company (DTC), National Securities Clearing Corporation (NSCC) and Fixed Income Clearing Corporation (FICC)—will assume the post July 1. He will succeed Donald Donahue who is retiring.

"His in-depth knowledge and expertise in the key issues that impact our market and its infrastructure, coupled with his highly-regarded management style, make him the natural choice to lead DTCC into the future," DTCC Executive Chairman Bob Druskin said in a prepared statement.

In his last position at Morgan Stanley, he was global head of the Institutional, Retail and Asset Management Operations Department. He also had responsibility for operational risk, business continuity planning and information security.

Before that, he served as divisional operations officer for the Institutional Securities Group and head of the Enterprise Information Group.
