Ready, Set, Shop — Greenwich Sidewalk Sales
Shoppers are expected to descend upon central Greenwich in droves for the annual sidewalk sales days.
Get ready to run the gauntlet in downtown Greenwich.
The Greenwich Chamber of Commerce annual sidewalk sales days — a four-day shopping extravaganza that draw shoppers from throughout the region — open Thursday and continue through Sunday, July 13.
More than 130 stores and restaurants will be offering summer discounts to shop and dine along Greenwich Avenue and all of the side streets in between.
Many stores had workers setting up tents and canopies along Greenwich Avenue on Wednesday evening. And a few shops already had discounted merchandise on display.
As always, patience will be a necessity as traffic gridlocks the area and parking will be at a premium.
