Saddle up partners ... it looks as though a new barbeque joint will be moving to Old Greenwich.
In the space formerly occupied by Moe's Burger Joint at 1340 E. Putnam Ave., there's been some action lately. Since about November, the stools for Moe's were perched atop the tables lining the front windows and counters where burger aficionados sated their cravings for all things burgers, shakes and sides.
This week there are new signs in the windows that are lined with logs of wood announcing that Bobby's Q Pit Stop will be opening soon.
According to the food blog omnoct.com, Bobby's Q Pit Stop will become the third outpost of Bob LeRose who runs Bobby' Q's in Westport and BarQ in Stamford. LeRose is partnering with his cousin Joey Boucher, who runs the popular Joey B's on River Road in Cos Cob, according to the blog.
So if you have a hankering for pulled pork, burgers, dogs or chili, stay tuned.
