Visions for Vacancies: 19 W. Elm St.

What would you like to see in this vacant commercial space?

Welcome to Visions for Vacancies, a weekly interactive feature that profiles vacant lots and commercial spaces. Greenwich Patch account-holders can weigh in on what they'd like to see in these spaces. You can be creative and — pardon the pun — think outside of the box.

Until recently, this 2-story building at 19 W. Elm St., was the long-time Greenwich outpost for home furnishings purveyor Lillian August.

What type of business would you like to see move into this space? A store?  Perhaps a restaurant, art gallery or a salon? Tell us in the comments.

We need more "affordable" retail in this area. Please make Greenwich like it "somewhat" used to be,

A place to have a quick, adorable and affordable lunch spot besides dirty subway and the overpriced garlick and herbs
