What Should Replace NE1 Skateboard Shop?

The apparel store opened earlier this year and closed about a month ago.

As Patch reported earlier this month, NE1 Skateboard Shop recently closed on Magnolia Boulevard in the NoHo Arts District.

The apparel store was nestled between a few eateries including Republic of Pie.

A "for lease" sign is up with no takers yet, so what do you think should replace the shuttered store? Is another restaurant the right choice or could that stretch of Magnolia benefit from something else?

How about a Pho place or a Yogurtland?

Loving the art deco theme of the outside.

Pho place would be nice. I'm still holding out hope for a Bay Cities type international market/deli place to go in where Blockbuster was. Lots of other development I've noticed in the neighborhood: P. Gator's, Barcade, new coffee shop, Chipotle...exciting.

New coffee shop? Did I miss something? Pho or ramen would be nice.

They seemed like cool guys at NE1 and genuinely interested in doing positive things in the neighborhood. I'm sorry to see them go.
