Cos Cob HamletHub Opens in Town

Cos Cob, CT – HamletHub, a unique online news source with a hyper-local focus on news by and for locals, announces the opening of their Cos Cob hub under the editorship of Cos Cob resident and writer, Susan W. Capparelle.

“I am thrilled to bring this unique and exciting news media forum to Cos Cob,” says Susan.  “There are so many great people and businesses in the Cos Cob community who deserve to have their very own forum to share neighborhood news, stories, ideas, events and best business practices.”

HamletHub is the latest in a burgeoning number of online social media outlets but comes with its own unique flavor and twist – sharing local stories written by locals.

“I knew there was an absence of an effective media outlet for covering daily events and unique local vignettes,” says Kerry Anne Ducey, writer and active community member who founded the first HamletHub in her hometown of Ridgefield, CT in 2011.  “I created HamletHub which became influential with the Ridgefield community. Residents enjoyed sharing their stories, connecting with one another, and contributing local content. This created an upward spiral that continues to this day in multiple HamletHub towns.”
