Paul Pugliese Inducted Into Greenwich's Realtor® Hall of Fame

The Greenwich Association of REALTORS® (GAR) announced that Paul Pugliese, President of Greenwich Land Company, Inc. has been honored as a member into the small group that comprises the Greenwich REALTOR® Hall of Fame.

The REALTOR® Hall of Fame is the highest honor presented to a member for their lifetime service to the real estate industry and the Greenwich community.

Pugliese, a REALTOR® since 1987 and is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Greenwich Association of REALTOR®. He has served as Chair of the Town Issues committee. Pugliese also serviced on the multiple listing service committee helping to develop Commercial listing forms.

Pugliese received a BA in Environmental Design from SUNY Buffalo, followed by Master of Architecture Degree from Yale University. Paul spent 10 years practicing Architecture with I.M. Pei and Partners and then Preiss Briesmeister Architects of Stamford, CT. The projects varied from skyscrapers and museums to corporate interiors and homes.

Pugliese and his colleague Peter Lauridsen opened Greenwich Land Company in 1986, with their business focusing on real estate consulting, for developers, as well as the design and rehabilitation of local properties. They added sales and leasing of properties to their services shortly after.

Pugliese spends a lot of time helping to make Greenwich a better place. He has been a member of the Architectural Review Committee for 25 years acting as chairman for many of them. He has spent almost 2 decades volunteering with the Bruce Museum as a member of Long Range Planning and Building committees and also on the Board of Directors and as Vice President. He was part of the Preservation Network sponsored by the Historical Society and is a founding member on the Executive Committee of the Greenwich Preservation Trust. During the past ten years he has been a member of the Byram Planning Committee trying to improve the quality of the streetscape and land use in Western Greenwich.

Paul is a competitive long distance open water rower and also enjoys competitive sailing. He lives here in Town with his wife Laura, a classmate from Old Greenwich School. They have two grown Children who also live in Town

Pugliese was presented the REALTOR® Hall of Fame induction by Alice Duff, a former Director of the Board of GAR and 2013’s REALTOR® of the Year, and Russell Pruner, past President of the Greenwich Association of Realtors.

Paul’s leadership has contributed to the success of the real estate industry. His dedication to understanding and explaining zoning and land use issues to real estate professional and residents has been an asset to so many. We owe him an enormous debt of gratitude for all of his contributions to our association and our Town,” stated Barbara McKee, president, Greenwich Association of REALTORS®.
