Federal prosecutors are reportedly recommending a one year prison sentence for former priest Michael Moynihan, who allegedly used church money for his own personal expenses.
The former pastor of is to be sentenced Monday in New Haven after pleading guilty last year to obstructing a federal investigation, according to an Associated Press report.
Moynihan resigned from the church in 2007 amid allegations he used about $300,000 of church funds to pay personal expenses, including credit card bills.
