Got That Foggy Feeling?

The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog and hazardous driving advisory.

The dense fog that's enveloped the region, especially along the Greenwich coastline has limited visibility to a quarter-mile or less, creating hazardous driving conditions, according to the National Weather Service.

"If driving, slow down ... use your low-beam headlights and leave plenty of distance ahead of you in case a sudden stop is needed," the weather service said.

The mild air over the region this afternoon, combined with moisture from this morning's rain is being cooled by the deep snowpack to form the dense fog, according to the NWS.

The NWS forecast has the fog beginning to dissipate after midnight Monday.
