The fog just won't lift today.
Here it is Monday afternoon and the town remains enveloped in a gray misty layer that won't go away. The good news—the fog is helping to keep temperatures rather mild for Dec. 10—just 11 days from the first day of winter.
The fog is so dense, the railroad bridge over the Mianus River is barely visible from the municipal commuter parking lot on Strickland Road in Cos Cob; one can barely see across the Bruce Park pond.
But not to worry, in his Greenwich Patch blog Channel 7 meteorologist Bill Evans says it'll be sunny on Tuesday.
Here are some foggy scenes in town. And we hope you'll add yours too.
