Greenwich Man Hits Instant Lottery Twice in Two Months

Joe Lanoce reportedly purchased two winning instant lottery tickets at Courtesy Mobil Greenwich in as many months.

resident Joe Lanoce is a very lucky man.

According to CT State Lottery officials, at , 1129 E. Putnam Avenue in Riverside, in as many months.

In late June Lanoce won a $10,000 prize playing “$1,000,000 Jackpot” — but more recently he won $25,000 playing “$200,000 High Stakes Casino,” according to lottery officials.

“I’ve been very lucky; I bought both winning tickets at the same place,” Lanoce said in a press release. “This time, if it wasn’t for my wife I wouldn’t have been shopping there at all last night—she told me we needed to get milk.”

Lanoce reportedly collected his most recent prize, less taxes ($17,081) on Thursday at the CT State Lottery headquarters in Rocky Hill.

“Like the last lottery prize that I won, the money will go toward my daughter’s continuing college education,” Lanoce said.

Earlier this year the CT Lottery joined up with the other New England states to launch the new , which offers players the promise of $1,000 a day for life.

Seems to me you are missing the most obvious which is shown in the photo used at the top ofRead More Greenwich Patch pages - Grass Island Marina/Park is directly across the waterway. You won't be able to see much of the stage front but you can certainly enjoy the tunes.
