Greenwich Police Investigate Death of Woman, 22

Police say woman is town resident Kelsey J. Curley.

Greenwich Police are investigating the death of a 22-year-old town woman who was found unresponsive in a Glenville home late Monday morning.

"At 11:18 AM Oct. 10 ..., members of the Greenwich Police Department and the Greenwich Emergency Medical Service responded to 6 Benders Dr., on the report of an unresponsive 22 year old female," according to a police statement released Tuesday morning.

"Upon arrival, the female was found unconscious and unresponsive. Officers and medical personnel on scene confirmed that the victim was deceased. The victim has been identified as Kelsey J. Curley, 22," according to the statement.

The incident is being investigated by members of the Greenwich Police Detective Division. Preliminary investigation does note indicate "any suspicious activity revolving around the death," police said.

The State of Connecticut Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will perform an autopsy. Cause of death is pending the completion of toxicology analysis.
