Greenwich to Get Up To Five Inches of Snow

The National Weather Service is predicting three to five inches, with snow falling until about 3 p.m.

Connecticut Light & Power and United Illuminating have so far reported zero outages in Fairfield County. About 100 customers from saw power outages on Saturday morning, according to CL&P.

Here’s a look at the weekend forecast for Greenwich from the National Weather Service:

  • Today: Snow before 3pm, then a slight chance of freezing drizzle. High near 28. Northeast wind between 11 and 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Little or no ice accumulation expected. Total daytime snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible. 
  • Tonight: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 16. North wind between 7 and 13 mph. 
  • Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 32. East wind around 9 mph. 
  • Sunday Night: A chance of freezing rain and sleet before midnight, then a chance of rain and sleet between midnight and 3am, then a chance of rain after 3am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 32. East wind around 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
