Picture of the Day: Pinwheels for Prevention
This colorful, yet powerful display of pinwheels in downtown Greenwich, commemorates National Child Abuse Prevention Month.
Members of Youth Corps, a Kids in Crisis-sponsored volunteer group comprised of teens from towns throughout Fairfield County, placed 1,864 pinwheels in front of the Greenwich Board of Education headquarters on Greenwich Avenue to commemorate National Child Abuse Prevention Month.
Each pinwheel represents a Fairfield County child who was abused or neglected last year.
