Remembering Those from Greenwich Who Perished on 9/11 [PHOTOS]

There's a proposal to build a second 9-11 memorial in Greenwich generating much discussion on where it should be located - Grass Island, Roger Sherman Baldwin Park, or perhaps another yet-to-be identified location. Organizers of the privately-funded memorial want a location that's more accessible.

For now, the town's only 9-11 memorial is at Great Captain Island - accessible only by boat. The town provides seasonal ferry service to the island. This year, because of Hurricane Irene, ferry service has been extended a week - through Sept. 18.
