Rep. Floren Recognized For 'Perfect Record' on Environment in 2012
Rep. Livvy Floren, representing Greenwich and Stamford, was recently lauded by the Connecticut League of Conservation Voters for her "perfect record" of supporting green initiatives during the recently closed 2012 legislative session.

As per a press release, Rep. Floren voted for "An Act Concerning the Sale or Abandonment of Water Supply Sources and Associated Land" (HB 5334), which "requires land currently designated as a water source to retain any connected protective easement or other land protections after a sale."
She also supported of "An Act Concerning the Coastal Management Act and Shoreline Flood and Erosion Control Structures" (SB 376), which "modifies the Coastal Management Act to consider private property owners' rights when developing, preserving or using coastal resources, as well as the potential impact of a rise in sea level when planning coastal development."

As a result Floren earned a "100 percent" rating for support of environmental initiatives in 2012 in the League's "environmental scorecard."
