A Greenwich resident has lost tens of thousands of dollars after a number of personal checks were stolen, according to Greenwich Police.
Police said the resident reported the theft June 11 after discovering the theft while conducting business at a Greenwich Avenue business.
The resident reported 13 personal checks were missing and that some had been cashed for a total of more than $60,000, police said. The theft is under investigation.
