Sherwood Avenue Estate Sells for $11 Million

Greenwich real estate transactions as recorded in the Greenwich Tax Assessor's Office from Oct. 31 to Nov. 8, 2012.

 

The top real estate transaction in Greenwich last week was the sale of 25 Sherwood Ave. The 6-bedroom, 9 bath home was built on nearly 15 acres back in 1934.

Oct. 31:

  • 108 Sheephill Rd.: Dorothy Ann Delo to Kenneth A. Bonnet, Xiao-Ke Gao and Ke-You Zhang; $585,000.

Nov. 2:

  • 25 Sherwood Ave.: 1995 Investments LLC to Jeremy E. Kaye, trustee; $11,000,000.
  • 779, 781 and 783 North St.: Jesse Inc. to North Street Real Estate LLC; $1,000,000.
  • 10 Hurlingham Dr.: Richard B. Cohen and Andrew B. Cohen, co-trustees, to 10 Hurlingham Drive LLc; $4,700,000.

Nov. 5:

  • 1 Finney Knoll Ln.: Claudine Hendee to Courtland LLC; $1,665,000.
  • 38 Cary Rd.: Frederick R. Jeans Jr. to Hilary Lea Bernard; $715,000.
  • 19 LeGrande Ave., Unit 16: Brian Amen to SDK Investments LLC; $595,000.

Nov. 6:

  • 14 Idlewild Manor # 2: Kirstie Brodie to Wendy Prager; $530,000.

Nov. 7:

  • 14 Hope Farm Rd.: Mark P. and Katherine Casa to Heirl and Lee Presser; $3,487,500.

Nov. 8:

  • 106 and 112 Indian Head Rd.: Lawrence K. and Barbara R. Hathaway; to JKLR LLC; $5,300,000.

Seems to me you are missing the most obvious which is shown in the photo used at the top ofRead More Greenwich Patch pages - Grass Island Marina/Park is directly across the waterway. You won't be able to see much of the stage front but you can certainly enjoy the tunes.
